If you care, there are a few basic things about me you should know. Firstly, I'm a first-generation American raised in the Bay. My mom's Nicaraguan and the primary source of any charm I have. My dad's a Bavarian German, which explains the height and the long words I make up. I speak three languages.
Secondly, I believe full-heartedly that expanding access to seats of power for people of diverse and marginalized backgrounds is table stakes for accomplishing major feats of true and lasting value. There are few things I enjoy more than working with diverse, motivated, thoughtful, and talented teams.
Lastly, I like to solve problems. They annoy me. Especially the big ones that hurt lots of vulnerable people and our planet. I want to help fix these problems with sustainable, effective, ethical, and, where appropriate, lucrative solutions in whatever capacity I can.
I know I (we) will fail countless times along the way. But failing is learning in shot-form and not something to fear, even if we do. It's a prerequisite.
I have a lot of wants.
And if you want me to help you, or vice-versa, solve big problems that negatively impact vulnerable people and our planet, let's talk.
